We have a truly special Veterans Day Service. We honor and celebrate our veterans and express our heartfelt gratitude for their service with a recognition event and a special meal. Our entire church service is dedicated to these remarkable individuals, featuring videos of all our community servicemen and women and a guest speaker who shares powerful stories of courage and sacrifice. Following the service, we enjoy a delicious lunch prepared by our talented church cooks. We want to show all veterans just how much they mean to us! This is an opportunity for our church community to express gratitude for their service and sacrifice while fostering fellowship among veterans and their families.

#### 2. Operation Christmas Child

Each year, our church participates in Operation Christmas Child, a project of Samaritan’s Purse that sends shoebox gifts to children in need around the world. This initiative not only provides tangible gifts but also shares the message of hope and love through the Gospel. We invite all members to get involved by packing shoeboxes, volunteering at collection centers, and praying for the children who will receive these gifts.

#### 3. Responding to Natural Disasters

In times of crisis, we believe it is our duty to respond swiftly and compassionately. Our church organizes on-the-ground efforts to assist those affected by natural disasters. Whether it involves collecting necessary supplies, providing monetary assistance, or sending teams to help with recovery efforts, we strive to be the hands and feet of Jesus in our communities and beyond.

#### 4. Supporting Mental Health Facilities

Recognizing the importance of mental health, we collect clothing and other items for local mental health facilities. Our goal is to provide comfort and support to individuals who may be struggling. We believe that serving those in need is a powerful way to show God’s love and compassion.

Throughout the year, we host various community participation events to foster connections and provide resources to those in our neighborhood. Some of our popular events include:

– **Back-to-School Supplies Gathering**: We collect and distribute school supplies for families in need to ensure that children have the tools they need for a successful academic year.

– **Trunk or Treat**: This fun, family-friendly Halloween event allows us to provide a safe space for children to enjoy festivities while sharing God’s love through engagement and outreach.

– **Easter Egg Hunt**: A beloved tradition where families come together to celebrate Easter with games, fun activities, and an emphasis on the resurrection of Jesus.

– **Christmas Events**: During the holiday season, we host various activities that celebrate the birth of Christ, including caroling, holiday meals, and community service projects.
